Dome is the name of protected settlement areas where humans lives post-Cancer attacks on Earth.
Overview[]
As Cancer attacks ravished cities and towns around the world, humans that survived were displaced from their own place and in need for a safe shelter for them to continue their lives. Meanwhile, it was found out that Cancer communicates via their exoskeletons to detect their allies and enemies. Sets of protected settlements, called Dome, are set out to accommodate the humans by using the Cancer exoskeletons as a "shield" to keep them safe from Cancer detection.
Unfortunately, the method does not fully ensure their safety, as collisions by Cancer happens sometime. Due to how Cancer intelligence works, they can still detect the Domes as obstacles and will attack the Dome, which still possess danger to the residents. In this case, Seraph Squad is needed to protect the Domes from such incidents. However the Squad are forbidden to interact with the residents due to safety reason, and "may cause commotions" as most of the squad members are using identities of long dead people.
Living Conditions[]
Generally, domes possessed limited sources due to collapse of proper facilities, limited safe areas to cultivate natural sources and also restricted network control imposed by the Military for the safety of the residents. This includes availability of basic needs like food and clothes, available shelters, power sources, entertainment, communication methods and so on. Humans had to make do with what's left to be able to survive. The Military still assist the domes to fulfill their needs, but it depends on the current circumstances around them as most of the current obstacles are beyond their control.
Lack of proper civil governance also lead to domes imposing their own internal governance in their own domes, including introducing their own economy system in such dome.
